NFM can be configured to send an email alert notification when specific files are modified.

Setting it up
To configure NFM's Alert Notifications click on "Email Alerts". Enter your mail settings and specify what files you want to trigger alerts. You can enter unique file names, file extensions (i.e.: .doc), or directory names to create alerts. When these files are modified you will receive an email stating when the event occurred, who performed it, and what they did exactly.
