File
Archiving
NFM
can be configured to create a file copies whenever a specific
file filter is triggered.
Setting it up
To configure NFM's File Archiving click on "File
Archiving ".
Here you can specify your archive directory (where you will
have file copies stored), and what files you want to trigger
archiving. You can enter unique file names, file extensions
(i.e.: .doc), or directory names to create archive events.
When these files are modified a copy will be saved to the file
archive directory you specified. If you check the "create
a new file every time..." option NFM will then
create a new copy every time the file is modified, instead
of overwriting a single archive copy.
Viewing Archived Files
To view archived files click on "View Archived Files"
in the "View" menu. All archived files are stored in the following
organizational format: \ArchiveDirectory\ComputerName\Username\filename
